At the point we start to feel strong emotional turbulence in our lives, it’s a firm sign that we have to create the space to access where it’s coming from and the root of the cause of the feeling. feeling sad, angry, scared, alone – chances are it’s for a reason . We are blessed with a powerful intuition which we’ve been conditioned to ignore through time, be mindful that not every thought you have, is your thought. Toxic environments, habits, even unbalanced nutrition can condition our feelings to this point.
While this may seem like a given, unfortunately not everyone has the same definition of blame or accountability, this comes with self-belief and value. I “blame” myself to intentionally be better and hold myself accountable to do better, others may become victims of the idea or the story they tell themselves. Whether it’s a person, a thought or even a depressive experience that just didn’t go the way you envisioned, can lead to a belief system eventually that you’re the problem, it’s a product of our very own manifestation. We should never allow ourselves to get to this state, or overwhelmed by experiences that just don’t turn out so well. Understanding the process, comes through experiencing the journey, that alone, is a lesson and a gift that should be acknowledged, rather than a focus of self blame.
Thoughts cannot be controlled by others, so looking outside of our being for answers or change, could be a painful process and only intensifying and delaying the lesson it has to offer. Be kind, be gentle, be around positive environments and people, but be mindful that controlling your thoughts is a process that only you are responsible for, give yourself the space to start the work.
We’ve all met that person that seems to have it all figured out, living the dream, experiencing life to the fullest and nowhere near working through these thoughts that we’re trying to face. More often than not, it’s the outside world that makes us feel that we’re running out of time and what we’re doing isn’t working. It is working, our process takes time, remember that you are healing from years and years of side affects that are only coming to surface now. So be patient with yourself and don’t allow outside influence to interfere.
